Businesses Invited to Public Safety Conference April 17

A public safety conference for all businesses on Mackinac Island will be held at the Community Hall Tuesday, April 17, at 10 a.m. Representatives from several law enforcement agencies will talk about security access boxes for buildings, Internet fraud, and safety and health code issues, said Police Chief William Lenaghan.

All businesses have been sent information about the meeting with their business license renewal notices.

Attending will be representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, security alarm systems, and the district health department.
