Arthur Dean Underwood and Paula Jane McNamara, both of St. Ignace, announce their plans to marry September 8, 2007.

Mr. Underwood, now retired, was formerly employed at The St. Ignace News.

Ms. McNamara is an artist and owner of Green Apple Gallery in Harbor Springs.

The couple will reside in St. Ignace.
