April 15 Deadline for Snowmobiles

Mackinac Island residents had extended use of their snowmobiles this spring after a winter storm produced close to a foot of snow, however, owing to city ordinance, snowmobiles are not allowed to be used after Sunday, April 15.

The city's ordinance states that snowmobiles can be used between November 15 to April 15 each year.
