Lakers Golf, Track and Field To Highlight Spring
Mackinac Island spring sports will get underway during the next three weeks, weather permitting.

In golf, the Lakers linksters, coached by Mary Patay, will include Woody Beardsley, Michael Gamble, Thomas Rilenge, Paul Fisher, Maggie Chambers, and Marie Bunker.

The first match is scheduled for Thursday, May 3, with a home contest against DeTour at Wawashkamo Golf Club.

"I'm excited about coaching golf, and look forward to the upcoming season," said Coach Patay.

The Mackinac Island track and field squad is coached by Jeff Ferguson and includes Riley Chaffee, Woody Beardsley, Robert Chambers, Andrew Chambers, Morgan Brodeur-Bunker, and Michi Mullings.
