City Council Appointments Announced At a May 14 meeting of the Mackinac Island City Council, Mayor Margaret Doud made the following appointments: Returning as Mayor Pro Tempore is Armand "Smi" Horn. Public Safety Committee: Armand Horn, Jason St. Onge, and Armin Porter. Ordinance and Licenses Committee: Mike Hart, Dan Wightman, and Armand Horn. Finance, Claims, Taxes, and Insurance Committee: Mike Hart, Jason St. Onge, and Armand Horn. Airport and Transportation Committee: Dan Wightman, Frank Bloswick Jr., and Armin Porter. Medical, Fly Control, and Public Health Committee: Dan Wightman, Mike Hart, and Armin Porter. Lighting, Public Grounds, and Buildings Committee: Armand Horn, Dan Wightman, and Frank Bloswick Jr. New City, Fire Hall, and Housing Committee: Frank Bloswick Jr., Jason St. Onge, and Armand Horn. Streets and Sidewalks Committee: Armand Horn, Jason St. Onge, and Armin Porter. Compost and Solid Waste Committee: Frank Bloswick Jr., Dan Wightman, and Armin Porter.
