Purdys Say Island Draws Them Back

Visiting Mackinac Island for the last eight years, Dan and Nancy Purdy of Crest Hill, Illinois, made their first of two 2007 planned Island trips Wednesday, June 6. They will be back again in August. "We enjoy it so much," said Mr. Purdy. They have been counting the days all year in anticipation of the June visit, said Mrs. Purdy. Friends ask why they continue to return and not try a new place, she said. They return because "we love it here," said Mr. Purdy. "It grows on you."
