CBS Early Show Will Visit Island

The CBS Early Show will make a stop on Mackinac Island Thursday, June 21 and Friday, June 22.

The visit is part of the network's Summer Concert and Great American Vacation series, which will begin airing July 5, in which network weatherman Dave Price journeys to nine American cities in a motor home, giving away free vacations and other prizes to viewers.

Mr. Price was to fly into Pellston Thursday evening and tour the Mackinac Bridge before heading for Mackinac Island, where he is to be filmed working at Fort Mackinac, riding a horse, and renting a bicycle at Orr Kid's Bike Shop. He will buy some fudge, have his photograph taken at Harry's Old Time Photos, and pay a visit to the Round Island Lighthouse.

The Early Show is broadcast weekdays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
