Arcos Trio To Perform Sunday Concert

The Summer Concert Series continues Sunday, July 8, at 2 p.m. at Ste. Anne's Church with the Arcos Trio.

The piano, violin, and cello trio will perform a blend of classics. The group emphasizes works by American, Latin American, and women composers.

Performing will be Seunghee Lee, a professor at Central Michigan University, on the violin, Carl Donakowski, associate professor of cello and head of the string section at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, on the cello, and Anthony Padilla, a professor of piano and chamber music at Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin, on piano.

Admission is free.

The eight-week program is sponsored by the Mackinac Island Community Foundation.
