Andress, Preston, Cousino, Parrish Top Golfers

Two teams tied for second place at the members mixed golf outing at Wawashkamo Golf Course Wednesday, June 27. The scramble drew 43 players.

With a score of 28 the winning team of Bob Andress, Sean Preston, Martha Cousino, and Ann Parrish each received $45 in credit to be used at the club.

A tie for second place with 32 strokes each was broken in a chip-off. The winning team included Justin Lents, John Manikoff, Sandra Orr, and Alice Bloswick. They received $35 each to be used at the club.

The third place team with 32 strokes was Lou Bunker, Jeff Dupre, Mary Jane Barnwell, and Nancy Marstiller. Each earned a $25 credit at the club for their efforts.

Coming in last was the team of Rusty Preston, Ron Dufina, Susan Stingel, and Jenny Callewaert. They each received the "whiner" $10 prize to be used at the club.

Other games on the course included closest to the pin at the fourth hole, which was won by Lou Bunker for the men, and closest to the pin at the eighth hole for ladies was Debra Orr.

Closest to the pin in three shots on the fifth hole was Bob Andress, Sean Preston, Martha Cousino, and Ann Parrish.

The longest putt was made by Bob Andress on the ninth green.

Golfers enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and beverages at the club house after the event.
