Compagnie Franche de la Marine Reeactors To Visit Fort Aug. 4-5

Mackinac State Historic Parks will host the Compagnie Franche de la Marine du Michilimackinac encampment at Colonial Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. August 4 and 5.

Reenactors from throughout the Midwest will portray both French and British colonialists from the French and Indian War period.

Reenactors at the fort's largest invitational encampment will supplement daily events with demonstrations, including military marching and drilling techniques, clothing presentations, and equipment demonstrations.

All events are included with admission to Colonial Michilimackinac.
