Bunker, Spata, Stingel, Chambers Top Wawashkamo Golf Scramble

A cookout followed a mixed golf scramble attended by 48 Wawashkamo members Wednesday, July 25.

The first place team with a score of 31 included Lou Bunker, Tony Spata, Janet Stingel, and Sue Chambers. The winners each received a $50 certificate to use at the club.

Coming in second with a score of 32 were Doug Rearick, Jack Dehring, Carole Erbel, and Mary Callewaert. A $40 certificate was given to each team member.

With a score of 33 and taking third place was the team of Rob Steensma, Billy Borst, Jennifer Bloswick, and Judy Robinson. The winners each received a $30 certificate to use at the club.

Coming in last was the team of Gary Cousino, Sean O'Dell, Brenda Bunker, and Cynthia Cawthorne. They each received $15 certificates.

Games on the course with a prize of golf balls included closest to the pin at fourth hole, which was won by Dan Murch, and closest to the pin on the eighth hole for women was Janet Stingel. Closest to the pin in three shots on the fifth hole was the team of Randy Stuck, Jay Stingel, Christi Dupre, and Ann Parrish. The longest putt on the ninth hole for men or women was Justin Lents.
