Medical Center To Host Annual Fundraiser at Grand August 26

The 15th annual medical center August fundraiser will be Sunday, August 26, at Grand Hotel.

Guests will be treated to a barbecue-style dinner and participate in a silent auction, live auction, and raffle.

Items up for auctions have been donated by Straits-area businesses, and proceeds benefit operations of the Mackinac Island Medical Center.

"The business community, and Grand Hotel especially, are very generous and supportive of the medical center," said Clinic Coordinator Kay Hoppenrath. "It's become a social event for the Island people."

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Suggested attire is casual.
