Wawashkamo Junior Golfers Battle To Determine Club Champions

Wawashkamo's Junior golfers hit the course Wednesday, August 15, to determine the 2007 club champions.

Winner of the 14-17 age group was Jack Schueller with a score of 45.

In the boys division ages 11 through 13, Will Barnwell came in first at 38, and Anthony Rickley followed with a 43. In the girls division ages 11 through 13, the winner was Adrienne Rilenge with a score of 31, and Rae Schueller was the runner-up with a score of 33.

In the boys division for ages 9 and 10, Todd Fridline took top place with a score of 34, while Colton Fisher followed with a score of 35.

The young golfers ages 14 through 16 played nine holes, ages 11 through 13 played five holes, and ages 9 through 10 played four holes.

Twenty-four juniors started the program that included lessons and weekly golf. This year's program ended with the tournament, trophy presentation, and a cookout.
