Rain Comes Down, Umbrellas Pop Up August 28

The rain did not stop Doyle Disbrow of Kalkaska and his two grandsons from enjoying their three-day Mackinac Island vacation Tuesday, August 28. Jaxon, 6, (left) and Jakob, 7, spent Monday riding bicycles with their grandfather and planned to ride around the Island when the rain stopped. In the meantime, the Mission Point Resort guests enjoyed a little shopping, playing arcade games, and swimming in the hotel's pool. This is the third year the trio has made the trip.
