Spooked Horse Causes Accident

A spooked horse pulling an hourly tour carriage on Market Street bolted Wednesday, September 5, breaking one of the wheels and the hitch. The horse and its companion horse continued on while the carriage came to a halt at the edge of Marquette Park. There were no injuries reported by the Mackinac Island Medical Center.
