Rausch Holds Romney Fundraiser

Scott Rausch greets presidential candidate Mitt Romney at a fundraiser he hosted for Mr. Romney at Anne Cottage September 22. Mr. Rausch is wearing a 1968 lapel pin from the campaign of Mr. Romney's father, George, when he ran for governor of Michigan. He gave a second one to the younger Romney for good luck as he seeks the Republican presidential nomination. More than 40 people from Mackinac Island, Illinois, and Michigan attended the event that raised approximately $20,000. Mr. Romney and his wife, Anne, who also attended the fundraiser, were on the Island for the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference September 21 through September 23 at Grand Hotel.
