Christmas Bazaar To Be Dec. 1 - 3

This year's Christmas Bazaar will be Saturday, December 1, to Monday, December 3, at Community Hall, and organizers are looking for donations for the live and silent auctions. Money raised at the annual event benefits the Mackinac Island Medical Center, Little Stone Church, Ste. Anne's Church, Trinity Church, and Mackinac Island Bible Church.

While the bazaar is in the planning stages, organizers already say one lucky winner of the grand prize raffle will drive away with a 2007 Ski-Doo snowmobile. The event includes dinner and sale items.

The bazaar will open at 11 a.m. each day and will end at 6 p.m., except Monday, when it concludes at 3 p.m.

Donations for the auctions can be dropped off at the Mackinac Island Medical Center. Those interested in making a financial contribution can send it to Mayor Margaret Doud, c/o Christmas Bazaar, P.O. Box 538, Mackinac Island, Michigan 49757.
