Islanders, Thanks for the Memories
To the Editor:

It was certainly a pleasure to shoot my latest film, "Mr. Art Critic," on Mackinac Island this fall. The community welcomed our cast and crew and we all came away with memories of new friends and experiences. Our featured star, Bronson Pinchot, told me later that he was really impressed and touched by the friendliness and hospitality of the Islanders, and he misses us. Now that's what I like to hear!

The film certainly showcases the personality of the Island, and the story captures many local landmarks and people. I appreciate all that the Island is and I look forward to announcing an Island screening next summer.
