Tourism Bureau's Spring Golf Outing To Be Held May 27

A fundraising spring golf outing for Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau will take place at the historic nine-hole Wawashkamo Golf Club Tuesday, May 27. The shotgun start for the four-man scramble will be at 1 p.m.

Cost to register is $100 per golfer. Golfers will be paired in teams just before the beginning of the scramble.

An open pit barbecue, sponsored by Island House, will be offered after the event at the clubhouse, where prizes will be given away.

There are also 18 available sponsorship flags that can be purchased at $100 per flag.

Tourism Bureau Director Mary Slevin said funds raised from the golf outing will help fund summer festivals.
