Bloswick Joins Grand Hotel

Jennifer Bloswick has resigned from her position as executive director of the Mackinac Island Community Foundation and is now the director of human resources of Grand Hotel.

She left the Foundation Friday, May 23, and the Community Foundation is now seeking a successor.

"Jennifer has been a tremendous asset to the Foundation during her four years with us," said Board Chair Wesley Maurer Jr. "She has been instrumental in establishing a strong bond with Islanders, the summer community, and with the Council of Michigan Foundations. She is highly respected among her peers and has built a wonderful reputation for the Foundation, both on and off the Island."

Kristi Graham, who served as the Foundation's executive director until 2004, has agreed to attend to the daily routines at the Foundation office for awhile this summer and will continue to serve clients of her graphic design business.

"Kristi's involvement again this summer," said Mr. Maurer, "will allow us to maintain full programming and endowment support. We're glad to have her back."

The Foundation's search committee is accepting applications for the full-time, yeararound position of executive director until June 15 in an advertisement that appears in this week's Town Crier.
