Island's Own Premiere Mackinac Composition


Members of a chamber ensemble including Mackinac Island summer residents Melissa Straus, Tess Miller, and Scott Harding premiered a new piece entitled "Echoes of Mackinac" at Ste. Anne's Church Sunday, August 3. The piece, composed by Dr. Harding, showcases periods in the Island's history by representing Native American legends, the war of 1812, and the Roaring '20s.
