Last Inning Rally Wins Charity Game for Firefighters


The seventh annual Guns-n-Hoses charity softball game, pitting Mackinac Island's fire department against the police department at Great Turtle Park Sunday, August 17, gave its spectators a thrilling seven innings, with the Hoses earning their sixth consecutive victory, 14-13. Players for the Hoses (not in order) are Robert Chambers, Josh Carley, Craig Bunker, Larry Rickley, Bobby Roach, James "Bam" Bazineau, Jason St. Onge, Chris Szabo, Gina Calcaterra, and Ryan Schlehuber. For the Guns, players included Micky Brazaski, Andy and Lisa Dziobak, Ken Hardy, Dominic Redman, Ryan Patterson, Jon Haglee, Jennifer and Chuck Collier, Matt Waters, Josh Meeker, Bryan Gipson, and Kim Raymond.
