In the December issue of the Town Crier, a page 13 story about the Mackinac Island Community Foundation reported that the Arts Council received a grant to introduce children to the deaf music rapper D-Pan. The rapper is Sean Forbes, cofounder of D-Pan, the Deaf Performing Artists Network. Mr. Forbes will give a concert May 9.
