Ralph Karr

Ralph D. Karr, 53, of Mackinac Island, died unexpectedly Monday evening, December 24, 2007, at the Mackinac Island Medical Center.

He was born July 28, 1954, in Detroit. His father was Ralph Karr Sr.

Mr. Karr worked for Mackinac Island Labor Service, which services employment for the Village Inn Restaurant, Pontiac Lodge, and Balsam Shop, and was known to many Mackinac Island residents.

He is survived by a halfbrother, Mark Anthony Smith of Royal Oak.

A memorial service for Mr. Karr will be held next summer on Mackinac Island.

Dodson Funeral Home of St. Ignace assisted the family with arrangements.
