434 Boats Compete in Largest Freshwater Yacht Race in History By Ryan Schlehuber Light winds and sporadic downpours last weekend on Lake Michigan foretold that the only record to be set in the 100th running of the Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac would be the number of entries, which was 434.
