Lakers Open 2008 Soccer Season September 5
Coming off a 14-0 regular season last year, Mackinac Island Lakers soccer team will look to new Head Coach Mary Patay to continue the team's dominance in the Northern Lights League, beginning with a pair of home games against Whittemore-Prescott Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6.

Coach Patay has yet to determine an official roster, which she will not finalize until after the school year starts. School begins Tuesday, September 2. About 15 players will be on this year's roster.
