Early May Stuart House Museum Opening Raises $200 in Donations

Volunteers raised $200 for the Stuart House Museum during a special weekend opening when approximately 600 Rotarians visited the Island.

The museum is owned by the city and operations are financed by donations.

About 50 Rotarians and family members toured the museum Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2. Volunteers Candy Smith, Sylvia Perault, and Karen Lennard kept the museum open for the early season visitors.

The museum now is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
