2011 Calendar Winners Are Announced

Winners of the 27th annual photograph contest for the Mackinac Island Recreational Development 2011 Seasons of Mackinac calendar have been announced. The annual contest was held during the Island's Winter Festival February 7 and February 8, with entries voted on by those attending.

Cover - A deserted wintery Mackinac Main Street and Main Street buzzing with summer activity, both by Sam Garrow of Marquette.

January - Icy Straits of Mackinac ferry passage, by Steven Moskwa of Mackinac Island.

February - Winter sunrise over neighboring Bois Blanc Island, by Gaspare Calandrino of Ada.
