Author Series Begins Friday

The Mackinac Island Public Library's Summer Author Series begins this year with Brian Dunnigan, author of "A Picturesque Situation: Mackinac Before Photography, 1615-1860." Friday, June 26, at 4 p.m., Mr. Dunnigan will speak about his book and his research of Mackinac Island images.

He is a resident of Mackinac Island and Grass Lake and is curator of maps at University of Michigan's William L. Clements Library.

Other authors coming to the library this summer are Margaret Noori July 31 and Sean Chercover August 28.
