Poetry Gathering To Be August 27

The annual Anne's Tablet Poetry Gathering will take place at the East Bluff landmark Thursday, August 27, at 4 p.m. The gathering is informal and all are invited to attend, say organizers Susan Allen and Jim Lenfestey. They encourage residents and visitors to bring poems they love, their own or others, to read or recite around the serene memorial to Island writer Constance Fenimore Woolson.

In case of rain, the gathering will be take place at "Inglenuek," the East Bluff cottage of Susan Allen five cottages east of Anne's Tablet down Huron Road (behind the tall cedar hedge).
