Annual Christmas Bazaar Will Be December 5-7

The annual Mackinac Island Christmas Bazaar will be Saturday, December 5, to Monday, December 7, at Community Hall on Market Street. The event features auctions and raffles to raise money to benefit the Mackinac Island Medical Center, Ste. Anne's Church, Little Stone Church, Trinity Church, and the Mackinac Island Bible Church.

The bazaar will open at 11 a.m. each day and will end at 6 p.m., except Monday, when it concludes at 3 p.m. Booths will offer a variety of gifts and tickets can be purchased for lunch.

Organizers are looking for donations for the live and silent auctions. For $2, people can buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win a new snowmobile, $500 in cash, or $100 in cash.

Items for the auctions may be dropped off at the Mackinac Island Medical Center. Those interested in making a financial contribution to the fundraiser may send it to Mayor Margaret Doud, c/o Christmas Bazaar, P.O. Box 538, Mackinac Island, Michigan 49757.
