I read the article marking the 30th anniversary of the filming of "Somewhere in Time" with interest [Town Crier,
July 11, 2009]. The article was published during my annual visit to the Island, and I brought it back to my home in Los Angeles. I work on the TV show "Bones," and it just so happened that Jeannot Szwarc (director of "Somewhere in Time") was directing one of our episodes in late August. I showed him the article and he enjoyed reading it very much. He told me stories about filming on the Island, and about staying at Grand Hotel during the shoot. Jeannot clearly has fond memories of his time on the Island. Thank you for publishing the memories! |
