Town Crier Offers In-depth Articles

Enclosed is my payment for continued subscription to your fine newspaper, the Mackinac Island Town Crier. I must say that I had never known of your paper before my daughter, Jane, worked for you last summer (due to the fact that I had little knowledge of the Island or its activities); however, I continue to be pleased with the level of information and in-depth articles provided by your staff. Lately, it seems I find much more pleasure in reading your publication, and other small-town papers, than I do with the larger, state-wide papers. Not only is it fun to read about local news, but your regular features – from nature to politics – are informative and interesting, too!

The people and places on the Island and at your mainland office meant so much to Jane that you all now hold a special place in her heart; she is very fond of her time spent there.

Because of all the above, and the obvious pride you take in your paper, I can honestly say that I am happy to renew my subscription, and hope to do so for years to come. Keep up the good work.
