Mackinac Island Hunter Pace Begins at Turtle Park August 5
      The Mackinac Island Hunter Pace will take place Thursday, August 5, at 11 a.m. at Great Turtle Park. The ride is open to ages eight and older, and helmets are required. Pre-registration will take place until Tuesday, August 3, and the cost is $5 for riders ages eight to 18 and $15 for riders 19 and older. After August 3, the cost for ages eight to 18 is $10 and 19 and older, $20.

Preston, Gillespie, Stingel, Bloswick Are Top Golfers
      Forty-two players participated in the Wawashkamo Golf Club Member Mixed event Wednesday, July 21. The first place team was Sean Preston, Bob Gillespie, Janet Stingel, and Alice Bloswick with a score of 30. The twoway tie for second with a score of 34 went to the teams of Doug Rearick, Jack Dehring, Syndee Borst, and Cammie Hart, and Randy Stuck, Lee Finkel, Carol Rearick, and Brenda Bunker.
