William ‘Will’ Visnaw

William Visnaw William Visnaw William P. “Will” Visnaw, 35, of St. Ignace, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, May 5, 2011, in Marquette.

He was born in Petoskey November 12, 1975, to John Richardson and Rose Visnaw.

Mr. Visnaw worked in the Detroit area as a laborer in swimming pool construction, and also at Lakefront Electronics, McDonalds, and Subway. He has lived in Marquette since early 2011. He is a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe Chippewa Indians and Ste. Anne’s Catholic Church on Mackinac Island.

He is survived by his mother and her family, Rose Visnaw Miftaraj and Mike Woodford of St. Ignace; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, May 13, at Dodson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 14, at 11 a.m. at Ste. Anne’s Catholic Church on Mackinac Island with Father Jim Williams officiating. Visitation will be one hour before Mass at the Church. Burial will be at Ste. Anne’s Cemetery on Mackinac Island.

Memorials other than flowers may be directed to the family.
