Dr. Alfred Wroblewski will provide orthopedic services on at the Mackinac Island Medical Center this summer on the third Thursday of the month. Alfred Wroblewski, Jr., an orthopedic surgeon from Petoskey, will offer orthopedic care at the Mackinac Island Medical Center.

He received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Michigan and served his residency in Pittsburgh. He has been in practice for 15 years, 13 years with Bay Street Orthopedics in Petoskey.

“I deal with all problems as they relate to the musculoskeletal system of the extremities,” Dr. Wroblewski said.

Although he specializes in upper body extremities, he will offer general orthopedic care while serving on Mackinac Island this summer. In the past, he had offered orthopedic services at Mackinac Straits Health System in St. Ignace, but as the hospital expanded, it didn’t have enough space for him to continue at the satellite office.
