Gnodtke, Musser Reappointed to Mackinac Bridge Authority

William Gnodtke of Charlevoix and Dan Musser of Petoskey and Mackinac Island will continue to serve on the Mackinac Bridge Authority. Governor Rick Snyder reappointed the two members for six-year terms to the Mackinac Bridge Authority, which was established in 1950 to manage bridge maintenance and repair. Their appointments do not have to comply with the Senate’s advice or seek the Senate’s consent.

Mr. Gnodtke retired from Gnodtke & Associates, a consulting firm, and served in the Michigan House of Representatives. He is chairman of the Mackinac Bridge Authority, as well as the Norwood Township Road Committee.

Mr. Musser is president of Grand Hotel and runs its daily operations. He chairs the Mackinac Island Convention and Visitors Bureau, is vice-chairman of the Mackinac Island Community Foundation, and serves on the Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau and Michigan Retailers Association boards.

The appointments were announced Monday, June 18.
