An art exhibit opening will be held at Fort de Buade Museum in St. Ignace Friday, July 6, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. featuring a collection of paintings by Mackinac Island resident Pam Finkel.

“I love playing with colors, experimenting with what they do to each other, creating moods,” said Ms. Finkel of her art.

The opening celebration is free and refreshments will be provided. The exhibit will be open until the end of July during regular business hours at Fort de Buade.
