Some Agree, Changes Do Not Benefit Island

To The Editor:

I applaud David Mickow from West Virginia [Letters, “Changes Are Not for the Good of Island,” February 8, 2013].

In the past I’ve written about the changes on Mackinac Island regarding overcrowding in some of the shops and now finally someone else has seen it like I did, only this time in the building of hotels.

I also agree when he wrote about having quality shops and tasteful products.

There are people in power that can stop any kind of takeover before it’s too late.

Save our jewel, our Island, what is left of it. I have visited the Island for a single day for many years. Maybe we can make a difference. I hope we can.
