Community Enjoys Pottery Lessons

Mackinac Island artist Jay Barch taught a pottery class this winter through a program organized by the city recreation department and funded by a community foundation grant. Mr. Barch is shown at left working on a new clay sculpture as Trish Price helps Kinsley Kristin paint her piece. Mr. Barch took the clay pieces to his home kiln for firing.
