Trivia Night Is Planned August 15

Trivia with Tony Doud will be held in Community Hall Monday, August 15, at 9 p.m., hosted by Mackinac Connect. The theme is movies and entertainment and the event is free and open to the public.

Annual East Bluff Poetry Gathering Is Planned August 19

The annual East Bluff Poetry gathering will be Friday, August 19, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the glade surrounding Anne’s Tablet. This informal gathering is a space for anyone to come and recite poems, read aloud their own work, or just listen. The event is free and light refreshments will be provided, says organizer James Lenfestey.
